The general procedures that will be followed to ensure this are:
  1. Make a choice between our products.
    • Browse through our Web site, read our brochures, visit us at a homeshow or drop by our head office.
    • Choose one of our products that suits you best, fits within your budget (we can organize financing for you if needed), and fulfills your needs.
    • Feel free to contact us.

  2. When you are ready to place an order, you will send us a sketch of the proposed solarium, including all information that you have at the time. You can send the sketch via mail or scan the sketch and e-mail it to us. Our contact information is listed here.

  3. On receipt of the sketch, we will produce a set of CAD working drawings that will show all the extrusions, glass sizes, doors, windows, connections details etc. These drawings must be inspected, approved or amended, signed by you and returned to Island Pacific Solariums.

  4. On receipt of the signed drawings, we will forward the project to purchasing and to production.

  5. Generally it will take approximately 7 to 14 days to produce the framework and crate the room.

  6. It will take approximately 5 to 10 working days for the room to reach you by common carrier.
What is your warranty and guarantee?
  • Island Pacific Sunrooms offers a limited 10 year warranty.
Can you custom design something especially for me?
  • Yes! We custom design all our solariums because we don't want you to have to change your home to suit the solarium. It is more cost efficient to change the solarium to suit your particular application.
Can I use my existing deck or patio?
  • Most likely, yes. Minimum foundation work may be required to meet local building codes. Our products can be joined to an existing deck or patio or built up with a pony wall and attach to your house without expensive modifications. If your deck floor has spaces between the floor boards (example: a typical Canadian outdoor deck made with 2 x 10's) you'll need to put a solid layer over top.
Do I need a building permit?
  • We have the engineering so that you can get a building permit practically anywhere in North America.
